Responsible for developing, planning, implementing and maintaining the Information Security Program. Ensures that the Program is designed to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and is in compliance with banking regulations. Responsible for risk assessment, evaluation of security controls including access controls, development and monitoring of policies and standards, security awareness, project and product development consultation, incident response program management, and proactive compliance with industry regulations related to information security.
• Bachelors Degree in technology or other related field from an accredited university or college; or equivalent work experience in Information Security and Business/Risk Management • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in the design and implementation of information systems • Minimum five (5) years of experience in information security, including the development and administration of information security programs • One or more of the following professional certifications: CISM, CISSP, SANS GIAC or CISA • Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience. • Experience with information security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, security event consolidation/correlation and reporting systems, and authentication systems to implement strategies and management solutions • Experience in the policy and regulatory environment of information security in a banking or financial services environment is preferred • Experience with GLBA, including planning and performing risk assessments, controls testing, and reporting Skills/Knowledge: • Knowledge of current technologies (Cloud Computing, mobile technology, etc.) as well as regulatory trends affecting financial institution information security programs • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, including the ability to establish and sustain successful working relationships with senior management, business owners, project management, and technology. • Excellent project management skills • Must be able to organize, perform highly complex analysis, conceptualize new ideas, and interpret applicable laws and regulations and other complex technical matters • Able to make recommendations for solving complex project and business problems by using independent judgment to identify and analyze the situations, establish responsive objectives and actions, and apply objective project assessment • Able to understand and interpret information for decision-making and presentation • Able to apply effective independent judgment to situations as they arise • Proficient in use of Microsoft applications
