Job Title: Leasing Assistant
Job Description: American Campus Communities has established itself as the nation's premier provider of student housing services to colleges and universities, offering private sector assistance in designing, developing, financing and managing on- and off-campus student housing. Our extensive student housing experience enables us to develop innovative student communities that meet the needs of our university partners and clients, while providing the most cost-effective, luxurious student living and learning communities for our student residents.

Responsibilites will include:

•Generate traffic of prospective customers by assisting in designing advertisements for periodicals, direct mailers, follow up letters, telemarketing campaigns, in-house programs, etc.

•Conduct all functions necessary to close the sale, including making appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining show rooms, and any follow-up necessary

 •Assist in conducting all functions necessary to maximize revenue during the summer, including leasing all space, coordinating with other departments, etc.

•Perform after-hours duties as needed (i.e., attend student functions, PR events, etc.)

•Assist in developing ideas to retain residents while organizing revenue

•Assist in coordinating assigning of rooms, matching roommates, minimizing changes

•Place customer needs, requests, and follow-up as a number one priority

Prior student housing experience preferred.
