Job Description: Ready to be an internal story teller? Insomniac Games is looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to support the HR team with communications related to continuous feedback, communication in the studio, benefits, recruitment, leadership and organizational development. This person would ensure that information is relayed strategically and effectively through a variety of channels including written, oral, digital and electronic. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:

• Work collaboratively as part of a team to develop, create and implement communications aligning HR programs and initiative with the overall studio vision and goals.
• Develop, write, edit and finalize a wide range of communications including intranet, email, webcasts/podcasts, website, meetings, videos and presentations, Q&As and other communications as needed for an internal audience.
• Ability and comfort of use with creative tools such as Photoshop/Illustrator, and working with vector logos
• Understanding of file formats, resolution requirements, and color modes
• Understanding of typography and layout with regards to graphics
• Make improvements to submitted content where appropriate.
• Develop and execute engaging and result-oriented internal campaigns.
• Manage communication timelines and deliverables while determining the best way to apply consistent themes to messaging.
• Passionate about storytelling and highly skilled in written and verbal communications – writes communications people want to read.
• Work with in-house brand team to develop materials and ensure cohesive messaging internally and externally.
• Keeps abreast of internal/employee communications best practices and committed to enhancing the effectiveness of employee communications.
• Establish metrics of success to monitor and evaluate engagement.
• Other duties may be assigned

Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Business; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office 365, Marketing Cloud or email marketing software, video production, Photoshop/Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Intermediate understanding of layout skills and typography.

Other Skills: Ability to handle multiple projects at any given time with strong organizational skills and accuracy. Excellent communication skills both in oral and written form a must. Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to develop ideas into executable plans. Ability to distill complicated, technical messages into easy-to-understand language.
